About Ibrahim J. Long:

Ibrahim J. Long is a dedicated chaplain and social worker with extensive experience offering culturally and spiritually inclusive support to youth, young adults, and families. His counselling approach combines spiritual care, mental health practices, and social work principles, fostering a compassionate, safe, and non-judgmental space for individuals to explore their challenges and strengths. Ibrahim holds an MA in Islamic Studies, a Graduate Certificate in Islamic Chaplaincy, a Master of Social Work (MSW), and clinical training in spiritual care and counselling. In addition to his academic qualifications, he studies traditional Islamic sciences with local and international scholars. Ibrahim currently serves as the Youth Wellness Manager and Chaplain for IslamicFamily, providing counsel, education, and mentorship to youth and young adults in Edmonton.
